Dr. Love

Dr. Love

Dr. Love started playing drums at the age of 10 and formed his first band by the age of 12. Influenced by Earth Wind and Fire, Smokey Robinson, Buddy Miles, Buddy Rich, and Phil Collins, Myron saw success with the hit band Magnum Force based out of Chicago.

Signed with Chi-town records, Magnum Force recorded the soul hits “Share My Love”, “Cool Out” and “Touch of Funk”. He then joined fellow Magnum Force band mate Stan Skibby, playing for several years with Stan Skibby and The Love Souldiers. Later teaming up with Biscuit Miller, he added his own groove to the original Biscuit Miller & The Mix. With Stan Skibby in Poland and Biscuit playing with the Anthony Gomes Band, “Dr. Love” toured with James Armstrong out of California.

He has opened and played with Koko Taylor, Phil Guy, Atlantic Starr, and The Chilites. Reunited with Biscuit Miller and recording on “Blues With A Smile”, “Dr. Love” brings life to “The Mix” with his charismatic charm and playing style.
